Default Sick of it

I just want to say that I am SO sick of ripping wallpaper. I’m still not done, but very close. I have not had a ton of time lately to work on it. I hate my kitchen being torn apart. I don’t know how people do it – living with rooms of their house torn apart. I can’t wait for this remodel job to be done. I almost think it would have been a lot easier to rip down the walls and put up new drywall! Less work!

Livvie, believe it or not we have done that before! I hate wallpaper with a vengeance due to tall the time I have lost to it. I don't understand why people used to put that stuff up!

Oh, I hear you...we ended up painting over some of ours becuase we just couldn't do it anymore. When we moved in this house 2 years ago (built in the 70's) we pulled off SEVEN layers of wallpaper. Then we did end up having to re-sheetrock the hall because it was so badly damaged from the removal.

I told my better half years ago when we shopped for a place to call our own I do not care the price or the location but if it has wallpaper we are not getting it. If we did he would have to hire someone to remove it all.

I have only 1 small area left but then we have to fix the walls! I can't wait to start that part though. At least that will mean the ripping of the wallpaper is over!

If you want you can come do mine. There is no way I'm climbing up a later to the high spots. They are over two stories tall in the entry way, and I hate heights.

No way Jason! I finished mine but now I'm sanding... I am not doing anyone else's work! Man I don't know how people do this for a living. I would probably kill someone!
