Have you ever put up wallpaper border on your own? Is it even in style anymore? I put some up in my foyer not too long ago and it went well. It was my first experience with it so I wasn't sure how it would go.

I love wallpaper border! I don't care if it's in style or not, it is in my house. I usually use it at chair rail height to give some interest to the room. I even took a border of apples which looked like they were hanging from a tree and cut the bottom of it so it looked like they were hanging from the wall. I put it in my kitchen and it looked so good!

I have an apple border paper in my kitchen too. It was there when I bought the house and in good enough condition that I kept it. I have never put up border but my mom has. I am not coordinated enough to do it well.

We've just been house hunting for the last 4 months and I must admit there was nothing more off-putting than a house with a tattered or ugly border. Like a yellow wall with a pink floral border- gross! Or when they haven't been applied properly and they're lifting on the edges... You must be so careful when applying them or it could ruin the whole room.
