What's been the biggest project you ever worked on? The first thing that came to mind for me was when I removed a load bearing wall and installed a beam to support that part of the house. I removed the wall to open up some space.

Mine was oddly not for a home I ever resided in. I got volunteered to help a cousins house out when it needed 5 rooms done up, including ripping out all the old walls and replacing them (along with ceilings), for an large project. We did it by the book, but it still felt like it took a year to do.

Mine is just starting. We are ripping apart our entire kitchen, counters, cupboards, walls, floor, everything and doing it all over. What a mess! I can't wait for the finished package!

Ours started in June of this year when we purchased a foreclosed home that was down to the studs on the inside. My husband is doing all the work himself so progress has been slow. He had to redo all the electrical work, patch the roof, redo all the plumbing and has to still insulate, drywall, put flooring in and paint. We have to fix the fence because it is falling down and we still have to fill in the inground pool. It's hard for him because he is trying to work on all this and work 12-15 hour work days.
