Default Answering Machines?

Answering machines have gone from a big bulky cassette recorder type to digital nowadays. How many of you besides me, consider your answering machines invaluable to you. I am in and out of the house constantly, so it's nice to be able to catch messages when I come back.

Honestly not many people even call my home phone anymore. I use my cellphone almost all the time so people call me there. I have more messages on the cell then we do at home.

We use our answering machine for our small business we run, so yes it's invaluable to my husband and I. We also use our cell phones and we get a lot of messages on them too. Our answering machine is the older style still - the one attached to the cordless phone.
