I have to admit, I'm one of the foolish people who bought one of the expensive Kirby vacuums. Yeah, I know, it's good but it's very, very heavy. Since I have back trouble, I really need something that is quite a bit lighter and also has the hose attached and ready to use. I would certainly appreciate a few recommendations from you guys as to which one's I should look at.

I like my little lightweight Bissel. It's easy to empty and a lot of the parts are easy for the user to change out. It also has a HEPA filter and works like a charm. It actually picks up a lot better than my old Electrolux did.
