Do you still answer calls when you get a beep? Or do you just call whomever it was back later? I have been finding that more and more of my friends don't answer and then they'll call me back and say, "Sorry, I was on the phone with so and so." What's so wrong with answering a call even if you're already on the phone?

Truthfully, when I got my smart phone I never learned how to flip over when someone else was calling. So for me it isn't that I think anything is wrong with it, I just don't know how to do it.

Well to be honest here, when I'm talking with someone on the phone and they keep going back and forth to answer other calls, it's annoying to me. Now if they are expecting a really important call and tell me that up front, I have no problem with it. Just my thoughts.

I will only flash over when I know who is calling otherwise they can hit voice mail. The biggest issue I have is when I flash over without looking and accidentally tie both lines together.

We never really use ours and I think on my cell phone it goes right to voice mail. I guess I am not on that fancy plan to talk to two people at once.

I just think it's rude to take another call unless you are expecting something important or an emergency. Those instances I can understand, but I think if a person keeps going to other calls, they really don't want to talk to me.

I don't answer mine either unless it is my husband calling from work because I know he has limited time to talk. When I do that though, I usually let whomever I was talking to first go.

If I can get to the phone in time yes but this morning I had to let something ring through to voice-mail since I was stuck on hold with the doctors office. I always worry when I flash over that I am going to disconnect someone.

This made me laugh because my sister does this. Only, when she flips over to another person she gets to talking and forgets she was talking to you. When she tells me to hold and flips over I just hang up.

I hate to be put on hold with someone if it's just another friend calling. If it's something important I can understand it. But if it's just another conversation, I think it's rude too.
