I know you can donate certain computers to local schools but what about computer monitors too? I have bunches of these laying around and while they all work, I seem to be stuck in the "need bigger and badder" deal with my monitors. I can guess I have at least 5 in my house.....somewhere.
I'm sure they'll take the monitors too. A computer system isn't complete without one. If they can't use them, I'm sure they have the resources to find other organizations that can. Good for you though, for thinking about others.
I am wondering though since I have not see any schools that have anything other than CRT types in the place. Some of mine are, but I have a few flat screens going on too, hmmm, guess I am making some phone calls this week.
I am thinking that since last week did not work out timing wise with getting out of work at a normal time that heading over to the Goodwill if worst comes to it, I can go there and see how their donations work. I think there is actually one that is a drive through type near work and since I have a truck its a win win.
I have 3 old monitors now and they just sit there. I won't throw them away but I just don't know what to do with them. I will either donate them or give them to the good will.
