I really need to find a cell phone plan that is inexpensive. Most are geared towards families and I'm just one person. I'm thinking about going back to a landline but I'm afraid I'd be paying for a lot of things I wouldn't use.

Good luck finding a cheap phone or cheap plan. I would think that you would need to get a tract phone (pre-pay or pay as you go). Phone plans are outrageous!

I think since it is just you that I'd start looking at all the different companies out there and see what they have to offer and just what you are looking for in a plan. That can make a big difference. A lot of them now have special plans to choose from, so just start looking and see what you can find.

I have only used one a few times in the past and only when really needed (during very tough times). I remember one was with Sprint and it was mostly made of plastic.

Do you have Cricket near you? They are a really cheap cell phone provider. Their plans are the cheapest I have seen and you get unlimited talk and text with their plans. In the end they are cheaper than pay as you go phones.
