Default Digital thermostat

I want to get one of those digital thermostats that lets me control my furnace better. I would like one that can be programed as low as 40 degrees. Does anyone have any suggestions?

We have one of those. But the problem is we can`t figure the directions about how to set it to be at 78 degrees. The booklet that came with it is quite confusing. Good Luck with yours. Let me know if you can figure it out.

I love mine I just set to the appropriate temp and I have to hit the hold temp button and it stays at 73 all winter long.

I need to get a new thermostat too but it sound like the digital ones are confusing. Also, I have no idea how much digital thermometers cost. Is it a very large price?

We have one of these and for times like now when we have had some seriously chilly weather down to the 30's then hot temps up to the 90's we need to wait 5 minutes before changing between heat/cool. Is this the same for all digital thermostats?
