Default External Hard Drive?

Does anyone else have one of these for their computer? I just got one a while back and have most everything stored on it. This way if something should happen to my main hard drive I will still have most of my files, etc. on my computer.

I love my external hard drive. It's the size of a deck of cards and is 1 TB. It would probably take me over a decade to fill it with pictures and video! They have come down in price so much that I think everyone should get one as a back up to their files. I think I paid $80 for mine, and well worth every penny!

I use them often as backups, and some of the smaller ones work well for transferring files between locations. I did not see that many great deals this year on them though.

I am not sure if the prices are the same for external hard drives but I know the regular ones right now are hard to find for many people. All of the shipping coming out from Thailand a ton of inventory was lost or damaged so the prices that you can find in stock have sky rocketed.

I have an external hard drive, and it was a present from a dear friend for my birthday a few years ago. It contains mostly back-up of very important files. I have also stored on it hundreds of meaningful photos and my most-loved movies and some episodes of my favorite TV series.

I too have an external hard drive which I have set to automatically back up my files about once a week. It's a comfort knowing that everything wouldn't be lost if my computer ever quit. Actually it's almost full so I'm going to have to either empty it or get a new one.

I just have an old single one from AZIO like this. I have not shopped for one in a while but I would be on the lookout for when they come back. I can not believe this one even went out of stock.

I use one for backups and the other one for syncing my home and work files. In general they are great to have and I can say that they make my life a lot easier.

Sometimes I will use my external hard drive for backup and sometimes for taking files with me while traveling. But I rely much more on my USB flash drive.

USB flash drives are getting bigger storage every day. It is smart to use them for carrying important stuff on us. But security of such endeavors is questionable.
