Ughg, me too. I also work from home so my computer is usually on an average of 10 to 12 hours a day. When I get a day off, I try to avoid turning the computer on at all because I'm so sick of it.
Because of the nature of my work, I'm online just about all day. How often I surf the Internet during that time is a different matter. I keep that to a minimum.
I go online off and on during the day. But most of the time I am online. I like to play games after my chores are done. I get a lot of email to read too.
I can't do my job if I'm not online. My work needs references from the internet so I use it while I'm on the job. When I go home, I still do things in the internet for checking emails, posting in forums, and playing online games.
I am here and there quite a bit, friends on IM always wonder why I go "BRB" so much but when you have many things to do thats just how it is. I have never stopped to think how many hours I actually spend online.
I work on the computer but not necessarily on the net, I pop on and off a few times per day, sometimes I stay online even when I am not using the internet.
My computer at work is always online, however I don't often have a browser open, so I'm not online per se. I do try to keep my internet use down, however now that more of my work is online, it doesn't often happen.
I'm in front of the computer almost half of my waking hours. I do different things in the computer. I also do some online jobs because I'm at home all day long.
