I wonder how much people spend on things they really do not need. We have all these gadgets but are all of them really making our lives better?

I think it will make our lives better in the sense that it will give us some happiness or fulfillment in life. My girlfriend find this kind of happiness in her shoes. She would buy a new pair of shoes after using her old shoes for only a few times.

We only buy some gadgets because they are "in" or new but in the long run, they just clutter the home and are not used.
