Irresponsible I am not talking about those not educated but those who refuse to educate themselves. I get tired of hearing 'fix my computer' from people that refuse to accept the simple and easy advice I give.

I know how you feel. I do not mind people who really need the help or are willing to learn. But I do not want to waste my time on someone who could do it and just chooses to be lazy.

The good lord helps those who help themselves. If a person doesn't even want to try, they're not going to learn by someone showing them.

I see more and more people like this scattered all over Facebook and places like that, even Linkedin tends to cross the boarder sometimes. Every now and then I wonder if these people actually work for a living, way too much time doing dumb things online.

It becomes irritating when someone always asks for help for the same reason. I agree that some people are either too lazy to learn new things or are just plain stupid.

Absolutely! It annoys me that my sister is forever telephoning my wife and asking her what to do about some simple computer issue. I hear my wife explaining how to do something and my sister will insist that she doesn't have that on her computer and when we go to her house to do it, it turns out that my sister hasn't been looking in the right place because she just wants my wife to do it for her.

| I know many people who refuse to give out any help even to family when it comes to computers since there are so many issues that could go wrong with a user error.
I have no issues helping to teach anyone but if they do not have the patience then I will flat out tell anyone, no. |

I am having serious issues with this still! We have a cousin who half the time does bust herself to provide and the other half of the time she spends complaining about her new husband who refuses to do anything. He will not even pick up after himself but swears up and down that hes "in school" and "learning stuff".

There's a couple of family members who ask me to help when they have computer problems that aren't hardware based. It really doesn't bother me. I figure some people just don't have any interest in learning what to do if they have a virus, software problem, etc.

I have a friend who has a Blogger blog (I set it for him) and I have told him how to post on his blog, which is pretty simple. But he always ends up asking me to post his articles on the blog.
