Does anyone have one of these? I have been dying to get one but I don't know if it is worth the expense. The books for it seem kind of expensive when I can get used books for $4.00 or less.

I agree that it is expensive. I had use of one, and was very disappointed. I guess if you buy a daily newspaper the cost may be recovered by switching, eventually, but otherwise its easier to buy the book.

Actually I am saving up for the Kindle. Yes both the gadget and the books are a bit expensive. But I think the latest version of the Kindle can read PDF files. There are many free ebooks available on the net in PDF format. You can download them to fill your Kindle.

The newest version can read pdf files, winterwall is right! For me though, I would prefer to hold the actual books and be able to read them while holding them in my hands. Now, other gadgets, I'll spend my money on right away!
