I know these things have been around for a while, but I was just wondering how they work? I've heard they give you a phone number that isn't local, but that wouldn't be a concern for me. Is it the best VOIP you can get or is another better?

Well I have been wondering the same thing about these. I see them advertised all the time but just wonder if they are any good and work well enough to want to get one. So, I hope someone else can pop in here that maybe has one and can tell us!
