Default Old electronics

I have a whole bunch of electrical equipment that I don't know how to dispose of. I don't want to throw it in the garbage. Is there a place to call to recycle electronics? I also have a whole bunch of AC adapters that I don't even know what they belong to. How do I know if I can use them with other devices?

You can give the old electrical equipments to a repair shop. They would love to acquire it for a cheap price because they can use some of the parts for their repairs. For the AC adapters, I don't know where you can dispose them. I think recycling centers will know what to do with them.

I've had great luck selling AC adapters at yard sales. There is a guy who comes to my yearly yard sales (it is actually a community sponsored yard sale, but he remembers me for certain things) and will buy all the adapters. He owns a cable store in a flea market and he says people are always asking for them.

As far as the rest of the electronics, it will depend on what they are. I know of computer recycling companies, or companies that will take cell phones. You could just try putting an add on craigslist.

I would look at other device and see if they have the same voltage rating. If the AC adapter says something like 9V look for a device with the same reading.

Is it still safe to conduct business in Craiglist. I've read a conversation in another forum where they say that Craiglist is not safe any longer because of many scammers using this website.

Anyway, this gives me an idea to give or sell Lucretia's AC adapters to Jason. What do you think guys?

When dealing on craigslist, I would meet in a public, busy place. A walmart parking lot, or something like that. Do not meet at your house, unless the item is too big and you have to. But I've done pretty well on there.
