I don't have a Paypal account but I'm certainly thinking about it. The reason is to pay some online bills and buy certain things online. Is it worth opening an account to do this or should I just keep using my debit card?

I use my Paypal account a lot, especially around the holidays. I think it's good to have one so you don't have to keep putting your debit info into all different sites.

I use it for most online purchases from companies that I trust that I am not waiting to pay interest on a credit card for. Just this past week I bought 3 shirts for like 70% off with their summer sale from Lands End.

Yeah, I think it is so much safer to use a PayPal account or PayPal debit card to make online purchases. If you don't have an account you should get one.

I agree. If you get a PayPal account you want to get the debit card too. It's a great way to pay bills. I don't connect my debit card to my bank account, and I think that is the better way to do it.

I love PayPal, I don't know how I ever got by without it. My sister and I both have accounts and if we need emergency money we can just send the money to each other instantly.

Paypal is great. I use it all the time. It's so much safer to use than your bank card, in my opinion. Plus you usually only have to have your email and password. No more having to enter all your information each time you make a purchase.

I've been using Paypal to pay bills, make online purchases, and receive money from part-time online opportunities for a long time now. So far, I haven't encountered any problems with it plus it's a safe way to use in doing money transactions online.

I forgot to mention that it's a good idea to be aware of things like phishing scams. If you ever get an email asking you to log in to your Paypal account, make sure that it's actually Paypal.com asking for your info. You don't want your account stolen from you!
