I am lucky in that every time my daughter upgrades her phone, she gives me her old one. She is quite young so always has to have the latest so I always have a good phone with a good camera although it's all wasted on me as I only use my phone occasionally and rarely use the camera at all.
I used my phone camera quite often when I first started and now the memory is full. It won't let me send any either because of the memory full problem. I have tried deleting some things but I still haven't been able to send any to my PC. I don't like it at all.
