Default Still have a VCR?

Does anybody still have a VCR? I see so many VHS tapes for $1 or even less that I wish I still had one just to watch old movies cheap. I think they are great for kids to watch movies on too, since there are so many Disney movies available on VHS.

I do still have 1 but it's never used. I don't even know why we still have it. We do have hundreds of VHS tapes too - and they are all just taking up space.

We still have one too and we do use it. It's in the basement and the kids watch their old movies on it. I don't want to buy all the movies on DVD so they watch the old VHS tapes.

I've considered getting one, especially with the cost of Netflix movies going up. I'm sure I can find a VCR/DVD combo at a decent price. I am always finding VHS movies almost free and most movies on my Netflix queue are older ones!

We have one because my daughter has all the Disney movies on VHS. It's in a unit that is a DVD/VCR combo, so it really doesn't take up any extra space. The tapes are bulky, but I keep them in a big box in her closet.

I think DVD prices are coming down though so I might not go as far as to get a VCR. I just buy DVDs online. I understand not wanting to have a bunch of VHS tapes cluttering the closets.

What a timely thread, I actually just got rid of our last VCR last week. I also got rid of all of our VHS tapes. Yeah they were great movies but we never watched them because using the VHS was so inconvenient so why keep them around?

I have not seen one in the longest time and I doubt my kids will ever understand what one is. They are now growing up in the age of laptops and tablets!
