Default Swiffer Wet Jets

I have had one of these for quite some time. At first I was really excited about not having to drag out the old mop and bucket. However, I noticed my floors had a dull film on them after I had used the Swiffer. I went back to the old mop and bucket and they are fine now. Am I doing something wrong or has anyone else noticed this?

I haven't tried them. They are just too expensive and throwing stuff away like that really bothers me. I have a Libman mop head and when it gets dirty I can just throw it in the washer.

I have them. They are really meant as a maintenance tool in my opinion. They don't do that deep clean that we all like. However, they are good for a quick swipe in between the more detailed cleanings.

I don't know if they have reformulated but the chemicals used in the swiffer was making pets and small children sick there for awhile. I imagine that they fixed that after all the fuss though.

I'd never heard that Millie. Maybe I need to research that because I won't use anything that is even a 'maybe' with my dogs. I think years back there was a hoax re: Fabreze and I still won't go near it as a result.
