I am thinking about getting the kids a video game console for the holidays. Do you have any advice as to which of the main 3 would be best for kids, ages 4 to 16 - Playstation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii?
My kids have a Wii and they love it. I love it too because we have the fitness platform and games and it's really good exercise! We also use the Wii to watch movies on Netflix with our subscription. It's wonderful!
I like the Wii too. It's easy to use and you can find tons of great games for it. The Wii fit platform you guys are talking about is great too. I had one but my sister came by and "borrowed" it.
You can actually use the Wii fit platform for other Wii games too (skiing for instance). I would also suggest the Wii - it seems to be the most "kid friendly" - actually family friendly.
Most certainly a Wii - they are the best for "get up and get moving" games. I think ALL kids should have a Wii console so they are active when playing video games.
How old is the child? Are you sure you need a full console and not something smaller and more personal like a DS system? Kids seem to love those most these days, at least the kids I know.
