I'm looking for 2 new TVs - one for the living room and 1 for the new shop we built. I want flat screens for both, and HDTV for the living room. Anyone seen any great sales out there? Should I wait for tax time?

I would certainly wait until February to see if they go on sale. I think that a lot of stores have big sales on electronics and other things around tax time. Check some big stores like Sam's Club.

I have also been planning to buy not a TV though but a Yamaha or Casio keyboard, and everybody suggests that I wait for the end of the season sale. For sure, the prices will significantly drop.

I just saw that Wal-Mart has some great sales this week on Flat Screen TVs. 32 inch - LED, HDTV for $198 - I can't remember the name brand of the TV though. I'm thinking of picking it up for the new shop we built.

TV's will usually go on sale at rock bottom prices right before the next new thing comes out. If you want to get the LED HDTV it will be more expensive than an LCD or Plasma.

HH Greg has a radio advertisement on now about 43 inch flat screens for as low as $377. I think this may just be for this week though.
