I just went out to pick the beans for the thousandth time this season and so many were SO BIG that I had to toss them. It makes me grumpy when I miss them and then they get too big. I'm also tired of picking them!
I just wish ours had grown this year. When we first got the garden out it was fine then it got washed off in July. Then we planted again and we got washed out again in August. I've finally quit and we aren't going to have any this year.
Beans and peas are hard to grow and maintain it seems. A lot of people try and then get discouraged quickly. I guess it's easier just to buy them at the store.
I'm sorry Flirty! I shouldn't complain about having too many I know! It's just that I'm sick of picking them. I should be thankful. Last year our beans were terrible. Just like you, a lot of our seeds washed out and we replanted them and the same thing happened.
