Okay I realize that most people probably have some brown areas on their lawns with this heat, but ours are brown and perfectly circular! What is up with that? Is it just the grass dying from the heat and lack of rain or is it some kind of bug or what? I mean how can they ALL be a perfect circle?

That is a good question. I am going to guess that there is some kind of bug or worm that is infesting that part of your grass. Could you dig up a patch and see what you find?
