Does anyone know of things laying around your home that make unique edging for flower beds? I have done bricks and rocks but want something unique for this upcoming spring.

I have only ever used bricks or big stones from the crick out back. I have a friend who used rail-road tiles... it was pretty neat. I'm not sure what else you could use - just try anything.

Bricks and rocks are the common flower box edges. I have seen a very unique flower bed edge made out of bottles. The heads of the bottles are buried about 1/3 of its height and the bottles encompasses the whole flower bed. The owner of the garden used recycled bottles so I think we can do this as well by collecting used bottles.
