My daughter and I took a bunch of gourds and put them in a pile on the outside of our property line (on the crick bank). We are hoping that these gourds will rot right there and then the send will replant themselves. Do you think we have a chance of having our very own gourds next year? That would be so cool!

I bet it will work - they will be called volunteer gourds. They might not look the same as the ones that you put in a pile though. Be sure to keep us posted next year!

I have seen other people do this before so I am not sure why gourds would be any different really. Have you attempted this with anything else or is this your first time around?
