We have been having some higher temperatures in our area and then the thunderstorms rolled in. Now they are saying between the 90 degree temperatures and all of the humidity, we will have a heat index of 105 degrees!

I don't even have lung trouble but it feels like I'm trying to breath in cotton outside today. I've made all of the animals come into the garage and gated the door to the house so they can get air conditioning too. It's insane!

Right now we have been keeping a very good eye on the outside animals even the ones that are not ours. A neighbor keeps pigeons in his yard and I have no idea how they are doing since he keeps them in such a small area, we always worry about them.
