To get rid of aphids from plants and flowers, mince two cloves of garlic and put in a jar with a pint of boiling water. Strain out the garlic and put the left over water in a spray bottle after cooling. Spray new buds to protect them from aphid attacks. I've been doing this for years, and it works well.

Are aphids those little yellow things that are all over flowers all the time? I hate those things! I squash them and wipe them off with my fingers, but they always come back. I'll give this mixture a whirl and see if it works.
