Default Ice killed our plants and fish

We have had really cold weather here in Florida the last few weeks. Even the lizards were falling out of the trees. I have one plant I should have covered. Hopefully it will be ok because not all the leaves froze. We have a ton of snook frozen in the water but you are not allowed to take them.

You would think that the fish would be smart enough to go deeper in the water. I have fish in a 3 foot deep pond here in Michigan and they are outside year round. I have to put a pond heater in to keep ice from forming but other than that they have lived out there for about 6 years now. It's been a crazy winter to say the least.

I'm in NY and ice, snow and cold kills all my plants. I have to cut them really low so that they stay healthy for the next season. I don't have any fish to worry about.
