Well, we had our fist killing frost last night and I forgot to take in my hanging petunias. Grrr. I'm so mad, I could have gotten another month out of them if I would have remembered to start taking them in at night.
Sometimes things like that just sneak up on you. Especially the first one, you just don't think it will really happen and then, uh oh, it did and the plants are a goner.
Killing frost indeed.
