Does anyone else mulch their flower beds for winter? I do in order to keep some of the flowers safe over the winter time. I have managed to also have my marigolds to come up year after year by leaving them covered with a thick covering of leaves.
Nope, I mean my flowers are already covered in mulch (I mulch each Spring). I don't cover anything with leaves - that just means I would have to rake the leaves out the next spring. Too much work for me.
