Default My stink bug adventure!

Thanks to the warm weather, I am STILL dealing with stink bugs coming into my home! I had one fly in the door when I was holding it open for the dogs! For every one I put outside, I find 3 more in my house. I'm getting tired of it!

We have been getting a ton of these too! I squish them though! I don't really think they stink but my kids and hubby do. I never really thought it being warm and that being the problem.

I have seen them outside before but I have thankfully never had to deal with them inside the house. Are there any natural repellents that you might be able to use?

We have a horrible time with Asian Lady Beatles in my area. You can’t get rid of them and they can get in through the smallest cracks. And they stink horribly if you suck them up in the vacuum or squash them. It is a never-ending battle year-round anymore.

I am killing at least 5 stink bugs a day! What gives? Do you think it's the warm weather? I am going crazy! My cat likes to eat them - so I try to squish them in get them in the garbage before he sees them.

Wow, that sounds like quite the surprising predicament you had for a January! Maybe have a screen door installed, or perhaps a sturdy bug-repelling tower?

The first time my daughter found out what these buggers were she was not trilled. Outside playing in the yard and her ball ran off too far towards the back end of the yard, low and behold she was stunk out of the area quickly!

I don't think they stink! My friends say I'm crazy but I think it's a sweet smell. I still don't like them though. How funny that your daughter did not like them.

Okay, I was thinking that stinkbugs must be a southern bug but then I see that craftykris is in New York. I'm in the northeast, too, and I've never heard of or seen a stinkbug - unless I just don't know what they are.

We live in the West. They do give off a scent whenever they are touched, but I don't think it is a bad smell. They are most commonly found in the Fall here.
