Lightbulb Planting Mums

Is it okay to plant mums in hot and sunny climate? I have tried planting some in my garden but they don't bloom as beautifully. Should I keep it under the shade or greenhouse?

I wish it was a hot and sunny climate here. I have no problem with mums in NY. I'm not sure about other areas. What does the flower say? There is usually something on them telling how and where to plant?

I think mums grow best when it's shady and cooler. I know we plant them in the Fall time here. It's usually cooler then.

Did you try to plant them and see how you made out?
