Default Robins everywhere!

I know there are a lot of old sayings out there but one my hubby always goes by is seeing a lot of Robins around the house in the winter. He has always said that when you see them you know it is fixing to get cold. Danged if he hasn't always been right too! We live in Florida and have just seen a lot of them in the last couple of days. Brrrrrr, here it comes.

We always see them in the spring, so I associate robins with warmer weather. I have not seen them here, but it's certainly been mild enough up here in the Northeast that it wouldn't surprise me to see them!

I can not even remember the last time I saw a robin in our area, we get a ton of cardinals though. I would almost invest in a birdbath for them all but the stray cats in the area would just chase them off.

Well we live in Florida too Bella so I know just what you are talking about. I think they fly down here for winter. When we see them in our yard it usually does mean that it is fixing to get cold. They usually are gone when that cold weather hits too.

Well I saw my first robin 2 days ago. Here in NY when you see a robin it means that spring is right around the corner! I can't wait. Then again the weather forecast for this whole week is mid to high 60s (unheard of in NY for March).

I saw a robin a couple of weeks ago. I've got a feeling that they will all be flying south again though. It's supposed to be in the 40s the next 2 days here.

We have never seen any in our area but many of the other birds are out. Right now we have a daily battle with one particular little bugger who keeps trying to build their nest behind our front porch light.

I've just seen 2 robins out in the garden. They were real friendly too, kept coming up real close to me. Such cute little things aren't they?
