Just wondered if anyone here has grown Tulips before and if you have some good tips. We are in Fl. and I'm not sure if they can be grown here or not, but would love to give them a try!
All we did is just plant the bulbs in the ground and they came up the next year. We never have to do anything to them (not even water them) and they multiply each year too.
Same thing for us here, just plant the bulbs the right depth at the right time and watch them grow the next year. We did water our tulips when they were growing though.
I want to do Tulips next year. I am tired of having to replant every single year. I know I will still have to weed and that is alright. Do you find slugs to be very harmful to tulips?
I've always wanted to grow Tulips too but thought they were hard to grow and we are also in Florida. It doesn't sound like it from these post so maybe I will give it a try and see what happens. These have always been one of my favorite flowers.
