Default Watering when away

My fiance has a ton of tomato and pepper plants this year and we're going away for two weeks next month. We don't have anyone we can rely on to water them, so what's the solution? Do they make sprinklers with timers or something like that?

Yes they do make sprinklers, or soaker hoses on a timer. I think I saw them at Lowe's. They may be a bit pricey though. Another option, maybe you could contact a lawn service and see how much they would charge to do this.

Yes you can buy sprinklers that are set up on a timer. They will just go off when they are programmed. You have to be careful though, if it already rained that day and you have a timer sprinkler set up you might over water them.
