Kids' Artworks Turned Into Placemats

My sister-in-law got an idea from one of the parents at the community center where she takes my niece for the children's program. The parent shared that she 're-uses' some her kids' art creations by laminating the pages and using them as placemats.

This is such a fun idea. Not only can you use the placemats now, you will also be protecting the art so that the children can have them as they get older. Where would you take them to get them laminated?

I think there are office supply stores or computer and printing shops that offer laminating services. Also, I just read that there are self-adhesive laminating sheets that you can buy and use.

I have done this with my kids artwork before, and I just used clear Contact paper and laminated them myself. It's really easy and super cute!

I remember using laminating sheets for something I did once. What a great idea for keeping a few of their childhood drawings for later on in life. I should laminate some of their drawings in their keepsake box.
